Medical Data Delivery Systems (MDDS)

We entered into a contract for MDDS with a manufacturer to supply reliable FDA approved products, technically advanced, user friendly and cost-effective. All these products that we provide are reliable and uses Bluetooth technology. We also provide personal health record and chronic health conditions (CHC) templates for consumers to collect a meaningful data of their health record and analytics

Consumer
Mediated Exchange (CME)

In September 2016, ONC/HHS encouraged participants to 'Move Health Data Forward' by creating an API solution that uses the implementation specifications created by HEART workgroup to allow people (consumers / patients) to securely authorize the movement of their health data to a destination they choose in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

In response to the ONC call, MedTechMD developed a private Consumer-Mediated Exchange. This would motivate consumers to be engaged in self-care / monitoring of their Chronic Health Conditions (CHC) and interact securely with the providers. Consumers may also selectively access authorization to their care givers, family members and navigators. They would have enhanced access for their Personal Health Record (PHR) or personal health information (PHI) as often as necessary. This would also facilitate self-insured employees to participate in wellness programs without the fear of compromising the confidentiality as they control the authorization of access through health-related data sharing APIs

This process would enhance the participation of consumers in enabling price transparency and portability of their PHR / PHI as they choose. This process will improve the exchange / inter-operability of Data securely. It also has the potential to improve the quality of health care. This solution would be available to consumers on existing mobile platforms or a public-facing website and improve the experience of information sharing between consumers and heir health care providers

Quality Payment
Platform (QPP)

The congress streamlined various programs into a single framework to help clinicians transition from payments based on VOLUME to payments based on VALUE

The Quality Payment Program policy will:
- Reform Medicare Part B payments for more than 600,000 clinicians
- Improve care across the entire health care delivery system

Clinicians have two tracks to choose from:
1 - The Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)
If you decide to participate in traditional Medicare, you may earn a performance-based payment adjustment through MIPS.

2 - Advanced Alternate Payment Models (APMs)
If you decide to take part in an Advanced APM, you may earn a Medicare incentive payment for participating in an innovative payment model.

Care bundle adoption is at a critical turning point and select health conditions (such as Myocardial Infarction (MI) and CJR (comprehensive Joint replacement) are the providers are mandated to participate in 2017, in Bundled Payment Program (under APM) and expected to expand to several other conditions.

Episodes of care (48 clinical episodes and multiples of subset conditions, MS-DRGs are classified into four Models for participation by the providers) are also rolled into Bundled payment programs.

–PWC (Price Water Cooper) finds 31% of providers and 20% of employers have adopted  the model

–About two-thirds of providers have improved quality and reduced costs  through bundles

–In PWC survey, the majority of consumer respondents found bundles easy to  understand and appealing, picking a realistic bundle over current coverage  62% of the time.

Participants in these QPP programs required to be transparent, share the data with the collaborators and consumers. They also need to document / report to CMS the cost and quality outcomes while complying with HIPAA regulations. In addition they should prevent hacking of the records (currently 4000 health records are being hacked every day) and fraud. In addition, providers are accountable to CMS at the end of the year to reconcile against  a bundled payment amount.

Our product meets all the above requirements when fully developed and provide analytics as needed.
